In this chapter, we are introduced to Lily and Caius, two young people who have just gotten married. Lily asks Caius to come home with her to visit her parents. Caius tells her that he is now a husband and that he and Lily love each other very much. He asks her if she has registered for marriage, and she tells him that she has already done so. She then asks him if he is going to quit his job as president of the entertainment company. He says that he will listen to whatever she says. He then asks her why she didn't tell him about the marriage. She says that she is happy for him and that she hopes he treats her well. She tells him to not worry, because she will protect him and Lily. She also tells Caius that the company may be ruined if he doesn't stop being obedient. She asks him to feed her medicine and she will go out first to get it. She warns him that if he does not take the medicine, the company might go bankrupt. She explains that all the artists of the company have switched their jobs to Miss Green's studio and that if the company goes bankrupt, the artists will be laid off and the company will not be able to pay its bills. They can't do anything about it, because Miss Green is the only person who can stop the company from going bankrupt.
