About This Chapter
It's the day after the wedding, and Mr. Dixon is looking for a place to stay. He's got a new job lined up, so he's going to start his own business. He asks if the place is full of people, and the answer is yes. He tells us that before he got into debt, he used to work for a big company, but the company wouldn't pay him back because he was too high up in the company hierarchy. The only problem was that the company didn't have enough money to pay back the debts, so they threatened to sue him. So he had to go to the bank and borrow money from friends and family to pay the debts back. He doesn't think he'll be able to pay it back, though, because he'd have to go back to work at the entertainment company where he works. He says that he're not going to leave because he has something important to do, but that he won't tell anyone about his background. He explains that when he went to visit his friend, he was confused, and that he knew that he owed money to the gangster, and he told him to use the money to repay the gangster. The police will find him, he says, and no one will hurt him anyway. So, he tells us, if you owe money, you should use it to get back at the guy who threatened him. He also says that the police will probably find him anyway, since he'm such a good guy. He gives us a tip, and we're off to find out what's been going on with the wedding.
