In this chapter, we learn that the car's oil has leaked from the engine, and that the lighter has been stolen. We also learn that anna has sent a contract to buy the company, but that she will not let the company go because she doesn't want to be associated with the "green" company. We learn that she has kidnapped Daisy and that all the employees of the company are trapped in the room with her. She says that she wants to kill her without seeing her daughter, and she threatens to kill the other employees if they don't come to her rescue. The two men decide to go to the scene of the crime.
