In this chapter, we learn that Brain's mom is furious that Brain and Scott lied to her about their affair. She tells Brain to pay attention to his image in the public eye. Brain says he'll do his best to keep the company alive. Brain then tells us that he's called six of his employees over to his house to prepare food for his birthday party. Brain asks why they're staring at him when he doesn't eat, and she says she can ask him directly in front of her. Brain tells her that she can whisper to the group of employees that they are gossiping about him. Brain promises to take back Olivia first.
