In this chapter, we learn that Brain once told Sherry that she would be his wife as long as she would return to him. Sherry tells Brain that she is loyal to him, but that when she helped him, he really matched her. Brain is uncomfortable at the wedding, and Sherry tells him to postpone the ceremony. Brain tells her that he has a scratch on his finger, and that she scratched him when he was filling in a kiss with his lover, Leo. Brain says that if she doesn't change the heroine, he'll pay him three times the amount of the liquidated damages. Brain reminds her that her studio has only been in business for a year, and she'll have to pay three times that amount. Brain warns her not to threaten him with a contract, because he has his own principles. If she insists on forcing him with one, he threatens to close the studio and break the contract, too. Brain asks his secretary to draft a new contract, and he tells her to go and tell Leo and Green that things have been done.
