Miss Green is invited to the wedding by Brain. Brain asks Miss Green what she wants to say, and Miss Green tells him to be careful. Brain tells her that he is in the entertainment business, and that he wants to improve his appearance. Miss Green says that she has an "inherent eye for man," and that she is busy taking care of herself. Brain says that it is a pity that he no longer cares for her, because she invites him here to prove that she finally married him. Brain is not like her son, she says, and he is loyal and better than her son in every way. Brain's wedding is soon to begin, and Brain wants to talk to Miss Green alone. Brain wants her to follow him, or his boss will fire her. Brain knocks on the door, but Miss Green faints in the room.
