The narrator tells us that it's a good thing that he was there to cheer him up, because he'll be sad to see him go. He also says that he's glad he was able to cheer up Hiromi so much. Hiromi tells the narrator that he has been acting like a goddess lately, and that he wants to do a role as one of the shrine priestesses at the festival. He wants to be a part of the show, and he'd like to do it in front of the audience. He says that if he can do it, maybe he can come to the shrine and study things there. He asks the narrator to remember that he still feels sorry for his self, and to chirp a little bit, and then he can leave his body and spirit in the shrine. He doesn't know what to do with himself when he sees the face of Hiromi, so he just wants to watch the show. He adds that there's been a lot of weird stuff happening in Tokyo recently, and they've caught one guy who burned down a house, but he hasn't been caught yet. They're going to have to go back to Tokyo, he says, because they're not supposed to be there.
