The teacher's cabin is full of people who have come back to the school, but not all of them have returned yet. One of the teachers tells the students that Hirono is waiting for them at the cabin. Hirono wants to take a picture of them, but Hirono doesn't want to send one of his own, because he thinks it's too dangerous for him to do so. The teacher tells Hirono to go back to his cabin, and Hirono says that he's sorry to have messed things up. He's not sure if he'll be able to do it again, but he does want to make sure that the other students are okay. He tells the teacher to wipe his face with a cloth, and the teacher says that's fine, but that he cut himself on the cloth. He asks the teacher not to tell anyone about it, but the teacher tells him that it was the sewing on the button that caused him to cut himself. He says that if he hadn't cut himself, he wouldn't have been able to save Hirono, and that he would have been a loser. He also says that the picture Hirono took of him was of his dearest Natsume, and he thanks the teacher for letting him take the picture.
