When the narrator wakes up, his first thoughts are about Hiroyuki. He's so happy to see him again, and he's even more excited to see that Hiroyuki is cute. The two of them have been avoiding each other for a while now, and Hiroyuki thanks the narrator for the cd he gave him. Hiroyuki and the narrator have been hanging out at the inn all day, and they haven't been able to kiss since the day they first met. The narrator's mom wants her to go to the private girls' school in nagisa, so he decides to go there instead. He thinks it's a good idea to go somewhere "safer" , since he doesn't want to go back to his mom's "boring tribe" of girls. He decides to check out the girls' room in an inn, which he can't really see at home. He opens the curtains and sees a picture of himself in the school yearbook. The picture reminds him of Hiroyuki, who he used to be friends with, but now he is his "girl friend" . He tells Hiroyuki that he'll never move back to nagisa if he wants to, because he'd never want to make a "big splash" like he did in the yearbook. He also tells her that she's the perfect fit for him, since she'll be the leading lady in the picture. He asks her if she'd like to be in the leading role, and she says yes, but she won't be in it if she has to. She also tells him to snap his "crash flop flop" and thank him for the noodles he gave her.
