In this chapter, Hiroyuki takes a breather from his daily life to reflect on the events of the previous day. He tells us that he feels as though a "dam burst open" and everything is beginning to flow again. He's been studying hard for the role he's going to play in the upcoming series. He also tells us about his father's love for "philosopher fighter" and how he'll be studying harder when he isn't around for his lessons. He says that if he doesn't get his actress for the part, he'd rather not get his story on the big screen. Hiroyuki thanks him for agreeing to play the part of the rapist, and Hiroyuki tells him that if the scene happens, it'll elicit "sympathy" from the audience and make them want him to pull through with the story. He adds that the scene later in the story will involve the rapists beating to death, and it will pull him back to shore. He invites Hiroyuki to have lunch with him. He asks if he needs to hear who jumped the murderer, and he replies that he does. He then tells Hiroyuki that he has to go to a prep school to get into the main school. He wants to know if he can actually study for the first time in his life.
