The next day, Hiro wishes to go see the fireworks, but he can't bear the thought of being alone with him. He tells himself that he's just an old "dirty feller" and that he doesn't deserve to be alone with Hiro. He's also worried about the three girls who mistook him for a "chocolate covered banana vendor" .
