In this chapter, we learn that Hirohito is nowhere near the giant he once was, and that he's still stopped by the other boys. We also learn that it's not just the giant that's stopped him, but the other guys as well, too. The other guys are running around trying to catch up to them, and Hiroshito's just about to run away when he hears a splash and realizes that he can't be the only one who's running away.
