About This Chapter
The captain thanks everyone for coming to the club's shindig. He says he's glad they're having a good time, because he'd rather be cooped up in his room than out in the public with his friends. The captain says he thinks the wind breakers are cool, but he wonders if they fit into the back row. He also says that he wishes everyone would apologize to his parents and guardians for being so nice to them. He's happy to hear that the captain has grown up a bit. He used to be so serious, he says, but now he spends less time worrying about things and more time enjoying himself. He tells the captain that his friend, sumiaki, used to play rugby with him all the time, but that he swore he wouldn't ever play again. This must have been a shock to the poor boy, says the captain, because his friend never left the room, and he never even left his room when he was younger. But the captain says his friend is the only one in the club who's not grown up. He thanks the captain for turning the club around, and says he can't thank him enough.
