Back at the beginning of the second half, we find out that Jack has given the ball back to the opposing team. Jack is furious, but he's not about to give it back to them. He's about to pass it to the other team's fullback, who's just about to run into the open field. Jack can't believe what he just witnessed. The other team is about to attack, but they're too close to Jack to stop him, so they just run away from him.
