In this short scene, we learn that Hirokazu is running at a hundred times the speed of his predecessor, and that he's been doing it for the past year. He's even more impressive when he compares it to the amount of time it would take him to run the same distance as matsu san, who's only been on the job for a year. Woohoo! Hirokazuchi is all, "Gee, I hope you're going to do the same job for me!" . The two of them run off together, and Hiroki is all "Thanks for the awesome job you've been doing." Aww, what a coincidence. We're not sure if this is a coincidence or not, but we're guessing it's because Hiroki's running so fast that he doesn't have time to catch up to the other guy's pace. Hiroki, however, isn't having any of it. He wants to keep going, and he wants to make sure that the other guys don't get too far ahead of him. He tells Hiroki to hold off on the wards until they're done running, and then he wants him to charge them ahead once they've stopped running. Ooh, that sounds like a good idea, right? Well, it turns out that Hiroki didn't really want to charge the wards ahead, because he was afraid that they'd catch him, and so he just sent them back to the ground. Aww. That's kind of like saying, "Hey, I told you so."
