In this chapter, we learn that kokuto has no game sense, and that he's ready to give up. He wants to know how well he can break through the line of scrimmage, and he wants to see if he can do so against a big man. He's worried that the big man will be able to slip past him, and so he puts him up against one of the bigger men in the room. He doesn't know how big the man is, but he does know that he can't beat him. Worried that the bigger man is just trying to slip by him, he thumps him and yells at him to stop.
