After practice, Hiroshi tells the other players that he's been thinking about quitting the team, but he doesn't know how to do it. He wants to get a job, save money, study, and go to a decent school. He tells them that they've shown him the ropes, but that they haven't taught him how to think for himself. He says that he hasn't had a chance to play for the team since the first day he joined, so he had to make up for it by running every day and building up his stamina.
