At the beginning of the new school year, the first-year players are introduced to each other and to the new coach. The first player, Kenjigion, tells the coach that he has never played organized sports before, and that he hopes to play this year. The second-year player, Mutsumi, is introduced as well, and the coach asks him if he has played before. The third player, Mizu, introduces himself as a member of the school's baseball team. The coach asks Mizu to carry him to the team's practice field, and Mizu does so.
