About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that no one has ever faced the two small men against the two big men, and that the rules of the game are simple: "Drag . . drag this ten-by-ten-meter box . is your field" . We learn that the captain and the iwashi will not let the two smaller guys pass, so they have to use their speed and agility to catch the ball. The two small guys, however, are able to do so because they have good form. One of the big guys, who is taller than the other, is able to drop too low and use his speed to pierce through the defense of the smaller guys. The other two, who are smaller than the captain, are unable to do this because they do not have the physical strength to defend their position. The captain and his men are grateful for the food they have been served, and they are eager to learn more about the game.
