Captain eden's platoon was split up, and half of them were either killed or seriously wounded. Sergeant Brown was able to stop the bleeding, and he's glad to be alive. He says that if something had happened to him, he would have been okay, but that if he had found the brush earlier, he might not have gotten hurt. He's happy to take a few days off to recover, and says that he'll be happy if he were to take care of him while he was sick
