This is a locked chapterChapter 22
About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a discussion of the "idiots" gathered around the table, who are "bending over backwards" to try to get credit for their actions in the war. The group is made up of people who have been "working hard" on the front lines of the war, but the narrator points out that it's "unpredictable" and that "battlefields are something that is unpredictable" . The narrator says that he'll be "mostly done with it" by the end of the chapter. He's not worried about Zuzubel's hometown, he says, but about the "mammian soldier" who is "working this hard" for his wife and her hometown. He says that this soldier is "the mammalian soldier" because he's a "little errand boy" who's been "used as a little boy just so you can hide" the "bruised face" of yours" , and that's why the "mammalian soldier" is so important to him. He asks the group if they're planning on sleeping with soldiers from another country. They're not, and the narrator says, if they keep doing this he will have to "stop you my friend" if they continue to do it. He points to the appointment document for the reptile's medical unit, which he says is "amazing" and "shiny paper" because it shows that the reptile has been "on guard" all day long. He also points out the fact that there's no country in the world that could possibly catch up to medical standards of the reptiles. He
