The medical officer explains that he is treating one of the wounded soldiers. He says that if he leaves, the wounded soldier will die. If he stays, however, he will try to save the soldier. He tells the insects to stop hanging around and to move faster. If they do not move, he says, they will be finished. They must get the wounded man away from the line of fire. He warns them not to change into their animal forms because they will soon be overrun by the enemy.
