Captain Ruce Duvall, a sergeant in the reptile army's 5th division, tells his buddy that he's the only one who's on Red's side. He's also the one who got a bullet in his shoulder when he carried her back from the "hell hole" , and he owes her a lot. Captain Ragueneau, the other officer who was wounded in the attack, is also worried about how Red is doing. He says that she owes him a lot, too, and that she'll soon be awake. He also says that he has a lot of stitches on his forehead, which is why he didn't realize he had a bullet on his shoulder until he was carried back to the hospital. He doesn't like sex now, but he promises to do it soon.
