He also tells them that he saw a group of soldiers following him. He says that they're not following him because he was following them, but because the woman is giving them "pain and danger." He tells the soldiers to come along with him and let her stay with him, and then he'll let her go. He gives them morphine to drink, and says that if they don't take care of themselves, they'll all die. He then gives them some medicine to drink.
