In this chapter, we learn that Lan Xuanyu's first test is to sleep. When he wakes up, he finds that the bed is comfortable, and that his bloodline has increased. He wonders why his bloodline is so slow, and the old man tells him that it's because he can't lift a finger. Lan YUANYU tells us that he's already had someone he loves, so his only desire is to have her. The old man asks him how he feels about desire, and he says that people can be arrogant, but they should never be arrogant. He tells him to work hard on his own, and to not be proud of his accomplishments. He then asks him if he has a desire for another woman, and Lan YONGYU answers that he already has someone he wants, and his only goal is to get her. He says that if he wants to achieve his goal, he'll do his best to do so. The Old Man then asks why the bloodline seems to have increased so much. He asks why it seems to be so fast, and says that the bloodline has absorbed both life and destructive energy. He wants to know why the Old Man threw the kid away, and then asks if the other kids in the school are as strong as the kid he just threw away. He doesn't want them to reveal any flaws, and so he tells them to pass the test as quickly as possible.
