The chapter opens with a description of the events that have taken place in the past few days. The narrator tells us that he is on his way to find old Miss nana, who has been living on the other side of the world. He asks the audience to look after her. He tells them that the song that she sang has "severely impacted her heart" and brought back memories of her childhood. She leaves the stage with help of the staff. She is worried about her health and about the audience. She asks if she is feeling better. She tells the audience that she is a little tired and that they should take a break. She says that they are on a "free contract" and that she will deal with the rest of the matter. The song did not make him miserable, but as he was performing it made him feel as though he had "actually remembered something" . After nana leaves, he calls her every day and asks about her condition. He also tells her that the college has informed him that he should go to the "Headquarters of the Spirit Transmission Tower" to meet with a young man who has "hidden matters" inside the tower.
