The Governess asks Le Guiche if he has met the singer before. He says that he has heard that he is a "pop star" and that he would like to meet Guiche's teacher. He also says that if he were to stay in the Governess's home planet, he wouldn't be able to meet her. He asks her if she would be willing to come and see the two of them in the forging room. She says that she would, but that they are in her dorm. Le Guichche tells her that they will be back soon. He tells her to leave the two alone for a little while. He then asks her to say something to the girl he has just met. She asks him if he says this to all the girls he meets. He replies that he does not say this to girls, but only to work girls. She laughs and asks him why he looks silly now. He answers that maybe because he doesn't talk much to other people, he just does the singing part. He wants her to come to his concert if she wants to go to Heaven. She does not want to go, he says, but he says that they have only just met and that they plan to go on to Heaven together. He begs her to help him arrange a concert in a capital city for three months. She tells him to hold it as soon as possible
