Bei asks Gu what the price is for his services. Gu says that it's too much, but Bei says that he'll pay more as a "token of friendship" . Bei tells the audience that the economic situation is not good, but he's just been "sold like that" , and that he helped two new artists sign a contract with a big company. He's glad that he was able to help the company sign the new artists, and he hopes that the national administration will revoke the ban on "same sex love" and allow the artists to be allowed to be in the country. He says that if the ban were lifted, he'd be happy to be back in China, since he can handle all of the affairs for the company there. He tells Bei that Gu's family is still giving him a hard time and that his little brother had a fight with his father and insisted on staying with him. He scolds Bei for attacking his brother, and tells him that he has to punish him tonight.
