The next morning, Gu and Bei are on their way to the marriage ceremony. Gu tries to tell Bei that they've just gotten married, but Bei doesn't believe him. He's worried that the marriage will cause a stir in the theater, so he's going to hide for a couple of days. Gu points out that it's not necessary for both of them to be present at the ceremony, since Bei said he'd be willing to do so. Bei, however, isn't buying it. He says that marriage is different than dating, and he wants to be the legal partner of Gu's family business. He wants to spend his life with Bei. Gu is shocked that Bei would want to marry someone he loves, since marriage is a different kind of relationship than dating. He also wants to know why Bei's mom reacted the way she did when she heard about the marriage.
