The chapter opens with Beier talking to Gu yiming about his new home. He's so happy that he can't wait to get back to his old life in the U.S. He wants to know how his mom found out about him and how he'll be able to live there. He also asks about the rent on the new house and wonders why he gave the key to the house as a gift. He wonders if Gu is actually going to try to seize his property. Gu doesn't seem to have a clue what he's talking about. Beier says that he wants to stay in his own home and not live in a "Villanova" or "Black Card" . He says that Gu is addicted to "Roleplaying" and that if he asks him to let him go, he won't let him. He tells Gu that it's been a long time coming and that he finally feels like he can sleep with him while being sober. He asks Gu if he remembers what happened the last time he was drunk, and he says that it was so surprising that he didn't realize his feelings for her back then. She says that they'd have slept together many times by now, but that it wasn't too late either. She feels like they've opened a door to a new world, and she'll love him more than before, even though she's tired of pissing off. She asks him if he'd like to do it again, but he says no thanks.
