Bei tells him that she is sad and that she has given up the whole forest for a tree branch. The narrator tells Bei that she can't "bend a straight man" because she is a "bottom like me" , and he tells her to ignore him. The stewardess tells them that the plane is going to take off and that they have to get on the next one. The two of them are so hungry that they shove mints in the face of each other. Mr. Gu tells the two that they are partners and that the other party wants to prove it by showing him the body language of the two men. He then tells the narrator that America is free and that he can express himself anywhere. He says that the next time he sees Bei, his heart will burst.
