The next day, we find out that Gu yiming has moved into Beier's house. We learn that the two of them have reconciled, and that Beier is staying at the house for the night. He tells us that he is a married man and that he will never get seduced. He says that he and Gu ying can do whatever they want in the house, and he will not leave the room if he finds out that they are having an affair. He also says that, if he sees that another man is in the room, he will make him leave the house and wash up before he goes to sleep. He asks if it is because he is hiding a man, and she says that it is. She says that she will not come out unless she tells him to, and asks him to remain hidden. She then asks him if he saw her shove him into the closet. He replies that it was not what she said, but that he was scared, and feels like he is holding back something. He invites someone to come and eat together, and they decide to have an affair the next time they are together.
