This chapter opens with the Grand Master and Senior , who are both drunk. The Grand Master tells Senior that he has made a special night-time wine, which he calls "bonding night wine" . Senior says that he can get drunk even if he doesn't drink with his "vital qi" and "true spirit" , but he's not sure if he needs it or not. He says that his immune system got rid of the toxins by taking a pee, but that if he drinks with his true spirit, then he'll get drunk. Senior asks if he can plan a trick to get Senior drunk, and Senior says he just wants to drink with him. He asks if Senior is worried that he would harm him, or if he is afraid that he will get drunk with him, and the two of them drink. Senior is also drunk. He tells Senior to go back to his room and rest, but Senior insists that he should go back and take a nap. Senior complains that he is sexually aroused and asks why he is so sexually aroused.
