In this chapter, bai-qiuran explains that he has created the six pathways of reincarnation, but he has not yet figured out how to make them work. He plans to keep the basic system of reincarnation in mind. He uses the thunder of heaven to change the landscape into an entrance for souls to reincarnate. The souls will be able to record their lives span, cause, and date in a book. He then goes back to the area where the ghosts are gathering. He explains that the cost of reincarnate is that the soul will lose all of its memories in the afterlife. He also explains that all the dead people in the world can stay in this place before their re-incarnate. This is the place where all the people who have died in the past can stay before their rebirth. He tells the story of how he created the body and how he used it to find a way to open the cultivation base of jiang lan. He gives the weapons to jiang as rewards for his hard work.
