About This Chapter
The Grandmaster and his men are back at the Heavenly Demon sect's gates. The sect leader has been taken captive by the monsters, and the Grandmaster is worried about her safety. He suggests that he use his sword energy to open the gate, but the Master says that he is not skilled at magic, so he should just use the energy of his sword to seal the gate. The Master then tells the story of how the Heavenly demon sect lost to the monster clan in battle. Some of the sect leaders were killed, and others were captured, so the current clan is not so irrational as before. The good news, says the Master, is that the human clan is holding on to its leader at the moment, which means that the monsters are only holding onto the human leader at this point. He then offers to take revenge on the Master for all the time he spent on him. He says that if the Master will take his offer reluctantly, he will do so. He wonders where the other female immortals are being held, and wonders if they need to eat to survive. He decides to put a plate on the water tank so that the monster lord will not starve them to death.
