This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between the Grand Master and the Emperor of the Mingling Empire. The Grand Master tells the Emperor that he has been thinking about killing himself. He says that if he wanted to kill himself, he would kill himself with the sword energy in his body. The Emperor says that he is the soul of God, and that he can kill him with his sword energy. He also says that the Emperor's body is not intact, but that he might be able to study it with his great wisdom. He is worried about his apprentice, and he worries about the divine corpse. He asks the Emperor to get rid of all the monsters that have been created by the Emperor, since he is in the Wilds, not in the Nine States and the Ten Regions. He tells him that he came to check out the fight between the Emperor and a giant god. Even the immortals defeated the giant god, but the Emperor returned unscathed. He wants to take him back to the Barrack. The apprentices in his sect are worried about him. He waits for a place to show him, but he is not strong enough to enter the place.
