In this chapter, the Grand Master of the Hehuan sect explains that those who are above the soul stage will be struck by lightning from the immortals residence. He tells his disciples that they must travel with their senior brothers to the residence. Inside, he seals three of his sword energies, and if there is any danger that cannot be solved, he throws out the three jade scrolls. The Grand Master instructs his disciple, meiqiao, to hold on to the boundary between the Heaven and the Earth, so that they will not be able to push the boundary too hard. He also tells his disciple that he will not compete with a younger generation for a chance to enter the Heaven's house. He explains that he has already been hit by lightning before, and that he would rather endure the lightning if he could build his foundation. He thanks his disciples for their kind words, and tells them that the latest development of the Xuanfa Academy is that it can prevent land immortals from invading the soul of an immortal.
