In this chapter, the Great Master explains that he brought his armored vanity ship because he wants to check the consciousness barrier. He tells the audience that he has been waiting for this to happen. He explains that the five sides of the universe are represented by the golden lines and that those who fall down into the river will be instantly killed. He also explains that there are 11 apprentices in his generation, but only two of them are his master's sons. The others are his father's children, who were killed in battle. The Great Master says that if he were not the next central emperor, the heaven realm would not exist. He is sorry that his performance was not good enough, because he failed to place the heads of rebellious divine Emperors on the platform. He says that he is surprised that in the present world there is still something that wisdom cannot analyze. He compares the crack in the consciousness to that of the soul. The crack is filled with the consciousness, but the consciousness is stronger than the crack. He believes that only the Eastern Emperor, taiyi, can defeat him. The Grand Master asks his apprentice to wake up so that he can go back to his wife.
