She also tells him that she has heard that he wants to become like her husband, but that a dog is not as good as a dog. She warns him that the divine strength in his body will soon be used up, and she suggests that he find a new lover. She says that she loves him very much, and that the term of political marriage hurts her feelings. She then tells him not to follow the emperor's orders for jiang, since he does not appreciate favors. The goddess tells him to not blame his rudeness on the emperor, and to grant instruction. He says that the heavenly emperor has lost his divine strength after being hit by the wooden whip. He also tells her that he did not expect her to be a human being and that she lied to him before they got married. He tells her to dress her wounds and to swish the vital qi into her body.
