Alek tells the others that he's not angry at them for shooting at him. He's angry that they didn't kill him when he was in control of the train. Alek tells them that they're not going to throw down their weapons, either. They're just going to wait for fire power. They don't have the fire power to fight right now, so they have to wait up the stairs. They can't wait for the fire to come in, though, because it's going to be too dark to fight. They have a signal to open the stairs, and they can break in. They could just shove a punch in Alek's face, and he'd be out of their league. They also have a roof next door, which they can use as a safe place to hide out. They plan to use the roof as a meeting place for the government's assassination squad.
