The next morning, Cally and the gang discuss what they've just witnessed. They're worried that Anzai has tasted their blood, but they're also worried that he's going to resist them. Cally points out that it's only a matter of time before a devil gets a taste of someone else's blood, and he doesn't think Anzai drank his mom's. He thinks that's because Anzai is a devil, not because he was a criminal. The gang is worried that if Anzai sees what they saw, he'll transform into a human being, and they'll have to rush to him. They don't want to scare him, though, so they ask him to wait.
