About This Chapter
In the meantime, Hiroshi has gone to the nearest police station. He's not sure who to trust, and he doesn't want to give her over to anyone else. Hiroshi calls a friend of his and tells him to head back to the bar. The police station is full of new recruits, and Hiroshi hopes that one of them will be able to take Hiroshi back to his wife. He also tells Hiroshi that he's tired and wants to know what's going on in his life. He asks Hiroshi if he'll let him know if there's anything out in the restaurant or in the lounge. He says that's fine, but it's dangerous words. He goes upstairs to the lobby to ask for a lift. The man who gave him the lift is a minister and his wife is a lesbian. The minister's kids have grand kids, and they're both in love with the same woman. He wants Hiroshi to give him a lift so that he won't have to tell anyone about it. He tells him that the man is a "little eccentric" and that he wants him to keep it a secret so that Hiroshi can't tell anyone what he knows about his wife's relationship with the minister. He thinks that the minister has something in mind, and that the two of them are going to go to the restaurant together.
