"Sweet bite marks" is the title of this chapter's epigraph. It's a reference to the vampire's bite on the tongue, and it's the first time we see the fangs of a vampire bite the tongue of a human being. It also happens to be the first vampire bite we've seen in this chapter, so we're not sure what to make of it. We're also not sure if this is a foreshadowing of what's to come in the rest of the chapter, or if we'll get to see more of it in the future. In the meantime, we get a little taste of what it'll be like to be a blood-thirsty vampire when you're back in the capital. We learn that roy is a vampire, and that he's going to kill anyone who tries to kill him. He's not allowed to do this, and he'll never do it again. Ooh, that's kind of funny, right? Ooh! Ooh... Hooray! Hooray. Then roy gets all huffy and says, "You're allowed to kill people from you, but not from now on" . Uh-oh. Hooray, too. Then he claps and yells at roy for treating a vampire like a pet . Ouch. Ouch! Aww. Aww... Aww! Ouch! Ouch... Ouch! Oh, yeah. Ouch, too! Ouch. Oh, too... Ouch... Oh, yes. Ouch... Ooh. Oh! Ahh...
