Two years have passed since the war ended, and the mountain where it all started is unrecognizable. The scar from the attack is still visible, but the holy water from the white witch has caused it to heal. He tells the audience that he has some clues to the witch, and that he believes that she will not betray him easily. He says that she had many chances to kill him during their time together, but that she now insists on being his enemy. He asks the audience if they know how to feel betrayed by their loved one, and he says that he does, but he still believes that there are "some complicated reasons" for this.
