Back at the vampire camp, Yon says that he's not worried about the bite marks on his body. He's going to report it to the Senate. He also tells Yon that he hasn't seen Yon's family yet, so he doesn't know what they're up to. Yon tells Yon to stop crying and to stop being so upset. He says that his father told him that he was useless and that he should be ashamed of his existence. Yon says he pulled his father to his side so he can be responsible for what happened to him.
