In this chapter, Du tries to be gentler with Yon. He tells Yon that his life has been a mess because he has been abused and manipulated by Yon, and that he does not want to be a pawn in Yon's hands. He asks Yon to help him find his crest. Yon tells Du that the party is to be held tonight, and Du is worried that Yon will not be able to attend because of the loss of the crest. Du asks Yon if he can take him to the party, and Yon tells him that he often hangs out with Yon, who is a member of the strongest clan in the land.
