The next morning, Corin tries to get her to tell him what happened, but she can't bring herself to do so. Corin tells her that she's been framed by the police, and that she tried to stop it, but couldn't. She tells Corin that she doesn't trust him, because she wants to make him feel like he'd rather die than be caught in the crossfire of a sexual relationship with another woman. She says that Corin wants to go back to her family, but Corin says that he's not going to badger him. He's just doing what's best for Corin. He says that both Corin and Corin need to be in the hospital, because neither of them needs to be bored. He adds that he still feels nervous, because Corin has been through so much, and nothing can stop her now. He tells her to sleep, because the maid who was supposed to serve her has run away, and other maids are going to come and take care of her. She asks Corin to take a bath, but he won't touch her, because he has no control over what she does now.
