In the meantime, Corin tries to convince Guinevere that he's not crazy. He's just worried about what's going to happen to his sister now that she's dead. Corin says he'll try his best not to tell Corin what to do, but Corin isn't so sure. He says he feels incredible, but he doesn't know how to express it in words. He tells Corin that it's time for him to leave, and that he can't wait to tell him all about his sister's death. After all, he says, he has something to do. He thanks Corin for coming to see him often, and then he asks Corin why he didn't get to see xin that day. He asks what happened, and Corin tells him that xin was already in the operating room when they arrived, and they tried their best to save him, but they couldn't. They've searched the room and nothing is found, so they're going to have to kill Corin to save his life. He won't hear what they say, and so they have to stop the operation. He wants to see his sister one last time, and he wants to finish her off with a dagger. He promises to take care of her when Corin is gone, and says that he will do the same for him when he gets home. He also says that Corin should get away from the woman, because she might be a bloodhunter
