He says that the husband is "too irresponsible" because he "just sits back and let the grudge escalate" . He also says that Mrs. Fu has spoiled him too much and that Mr. Fu doesn't care about anything at all. The narrator says that he is going to the city tomorrow for his business trip and that he wants to take his wife on a vacation, but the weather has changed so much that he has to postpone the trip. He tells her that the manager of the hotel where he is staying is mad because he did not tell her of the business trip before. He asks her if she will let him go on the trip, and she says that she will, but that she must stay with her. She tells him that he must persuade her first, and then he can go. She says that if he does not, she will punish him if she does not.
