In this chapter, we are told that the plot of the story is purely fictional, and that there is no intention to make any reference to real events or characters. In fact, the only similarity between the story and real life is that the setting is a ferri's wheel. The girl sits next to the girl on the wheel, and she tells her that she is comfortable with the ride because there is so much space and she is not fat. She tells the girl that fairy tales are unrealistic, since they are not realistic. She says that they can test fairy tales by taking the rest of their lives on the ride to see if they come true, but prepare yourself for the day when they will be yours.
